Ok, about “Stranger things” (very briefly, since I’ve only consumed two episodes of Season 1 so far). It’s a good take on a Supernatural drama with a fair bit of nostalgia for my generation (Gen X) specifically—with only one, but significant detail: it has never been my past (you know, the Iron Curtain and all that fun—not—stuff), yet it’s getting oddly relatable—after all, being a bullied nerdy kid isn’t an exclusive thing for 80s America. It does indeed look like a lighter, teen, version of Twin Peaks, too.
But man, I do struggle with the accent—especially in the dialogues between cops. Barely understand a thing. Hope, it’ll get better eventually. Or, maybe, not.
