Those who were saying that artsy AI (Midjourney and the like) would overtake the professional art world in a hot minute, did it a bit prematurely: all these endless blobby Kraken teapots, blobby starry gowns, blobby gleaming lanterns after a while started looking similar, and not only did it annoy me but also frazzled me out. So, nah: for quite some time professional illustrators and their works will be doing just fine, no worries.
