So, here we go: we have finally assembled our garden arch for the climbing rose whose ability to stick to the tree turned out to be dubious. We were trying hard to train the bush to climb the lower brunches, and gave up: the rose, whilst producing lots of beautiful tiny flowers (with the loveliest scent ever), refused to comply. So, after a while, L. and I decided to try the arch, which, potentially would hold the rose in a certain frame and shape.

We haven’t fully finished our project yet: the arch needs proper adjustment as it is still slightly crooked (we have to dig deeper holes for its legs), we also should check all the screws, but the very idea of the garden arch feels appealing.
