This constant pandering to the entire “Veganuary”/“dry January” nonsense still puzzles me. I do understand, of course, the seasonal “slow news day” thing that mostly coincides with the end of major winter festivities, but the amount of media buzz around this annoys me as I can’t simply suppress every other source without stumbling across this idiocy.
