Кромерские tutti quanti: P. 22 “Before the departure” (photos; En)

• Looking at the Pier from every possible angle in the morning, afternoon and evening — check;
• Walking by the sea on the empty beaches during low tide — check;
• Walking by the sea on the shingle part of the beaches during high tide — check;
• Counting the diminishing number of the Old Bois Groynes, which are slowly being destroyed by the elements — check;
• Eating Cromer crab in all possible (and impossible) combinations — check;
• Travelling to Overstrand twice and observing the Lighthouse — check;
• Travelling to Sheringham and back during low tide when the walk felt as effortless as ever — check;
• Visiting St Peter and Paul’s Church in order to look at the magnificent Arts & Crafts/ Pre-Raphaelite stained glass — check;
• Eating the most delicious fish’ n’ chips — check;
• Feeling that inevitable sorrow before leaving — check, check, check.
Cromer, you never go away. At least, not from my mind and heart.
