I think, it was the very first sunny day without lengthy rainy intermissions after Storm Ciarán hit the southern part of the island: here, in the east, it was less dangerous, but boy was it wet.

Anyway, the weather was lovely and consistent enough for our usual 9 km walk via Trumpington and Grantchester: surprisingly, not too many bikes either, which made the whole stroll even more pleasant.
