And we’ve finally done it—framed a limited edition print that we bought in our favourite North Norfolk gallery during the latest holiday in Cromer. It’s based on a watercolour “The Gangway, Cromer” by a North Norfolk artist, Robert Gay, who is well known in Norfolk: his scenes of Cromer, Felbrigg, and Sheringham perfectly depict the atmosphere of these beloved locations.
I placed the print next two my other latest Cromer findings, the vintage photos of Cromer Pier and East Cliff (circa 1910).
The Gangway holds a special place in my heart: this is the exact path to the East beach from our hotel.
