An oldie but goodie (and somewhat pointless) format for a garden update about the hidden joys of the minimal [due to the weather misfortunes] crop: the damson madness yet to begin, and before that we’ve got a scoop of redcurrants. Despite the modest quantity, they are surprisingly sweet (presumably the sun of the last few days gave them a bit of zhuzh up) and just right tarty.
