What Nancy Museum has done well is to show the smooth transition from the late Renaissance to Mannerism (I am not a fan of baroque art, hence skipped pretty much all Rubens-like things in the gallery)
NB: the last work of de La Tour is from Charles Cartier-Bresson’s private collection.
