Another big reshuffle: after our major renovation of the kitchen (that was something else, I have to admit, in terms of adjusting to havoc, although all the workers who did the actual refurbishment were impeccable and we are sincerely grateful to them all), a watercolour “The Gangway, Cromer” by a North Norfolk artist, Robert Gay, that previously hung in the kitchen, went to L.’s home office and was put next to one of my most beloved works, also dedicated to Cromer (of course!) by incredible Sarah McMenemy, the two Chagall posters we bought in Nice, tutti quanti with Pinocchio from Florence, and ROH’s posters for their enchanting “Alice in Wonderland” ballet. Looking at this wall makes me instantly happy.
