I was today years old and have been living in this country for nearly 11 years only to discover that one of the ways to say “good night/ sweet dreams/ sleep tight” etc. in British English would be “Up the wooden Hill to Bedfordshire.” I thought at first it was archaic, but, apparently, some people still use it.
