Several days ago I, being in my normal (up to now) absent-minded state, knocked my favourite lampshade I bought by chance at the antique shop for a modest £5. God only knows which direction my brain was travelling in at that unfortunate moment, but the result was quite grim: the lampshade was completely ruined and then tossed into a rubbish bin.
Many thanks to Etsy, a bucolic place for all miserable creatures like me who need a quick fix in their dwellings, and voilà: a Morris-esque replica with my beloved Strawberry Thief pattern arrived today, and I am not mad at it at all.
