TWIMC. And so it’s finally happened—and it’s here! My most anticipated project of the year, into which I put the absolute maximum of my efforts, has become a reality: Lovecraftian Proceedings, Vol. 5, is ready to be read, analysed and used to spread the word about the Old Gent and all things horror and weird!
The entire project wouldn’t have been possible without our fabulous team:
- the authors, who were also the presenters at the previous Armitage Symposium: their talent and persuasion are what made this edition so great;
- the help and support from the previous editor (and my precious friend), Prof. Dennis Quinn, whose wisdom sustained me throughout the whole ordeal;
- the collaboration with the most legendary people in academic Lovecraftiana out there— the Hippocampus Press board (and don’t forget that it’s the best ever publisher out there!), S.T. Joshi, David E. Schultz, and, of course, Derrick Hussey;
- my reviewers (my lips are sealed, as I can’t reveal their identities, but I am forever grateful for their professionalism and objectivity),
- Niels Viggo, without whom the whole Armitage thing wouldn’t be possible.
