It felt like mild Autumn two days ago (I mean, that’s how it pretty much felt for the last 8 or so months more or less, lol), and the urge to cook apples that were suddenly found in the bottom of the wooden bowl together with damsons was strong (shocker! we still have plenty, and I highly doubt we’ll manage to cook even a quarter of them before our departure to the Holy City of Providence). Well, it resulted in baking another Apple cake aka Sharlotka—this time with damsons: voilà!
