Well, the second part of the news isn’t great either: I had a call from the vet (finally!), and the biopsy has confirmed that Pickle has indeed got sarcoma.
As dreadful as it sounds, at least we have closure now and the protocol of the things we need to do. The vet has already put him on a referral list, on Thursday I will call an oncologist, and with luck his surgery will take place soon. Then the vet recommends radiotherapy, but, of course, it would depend on what the X-Ray shows before the actual surgery. With radiotherapy the chances of survival and remission are good.
We will not give up. Absolutely not.
