I love Gatiss, I really do, but we all have to be very careful with what we are saying and who we are talking to. If it is a Guardian journalist, be ready to be diminished to “the shame of being [insert something grand],” because the very essence of propaganda, and, especially, the slightly cleverer one, is the capability to distort.
What Gatiss is saying is he doesn’t approve of Brexit like many of us, myself included, but the Guardian wouldn’t be themselves had they not use this phrase as a simple schtick to trick the audience.
