Cataracts in Cambridge

On the other hand, not so jovial news here: as today's eye exam revealed, I've got cataracts in both eyes. Given my very advanced myopia (-11/-12) and the history of cataracts in my family (Babushka and Dad), it is a bit surprising that it didn't happen earlier, but here we are anyway. My amazing optometrist said that at this stage it could stay as it is, but, with the progression of a time (and ageing) I have to consider a surgical option. It wouldn't be my first ever eye surgery, so I am not scared of it. Maybe annoyed a bit (with myself mostly), but let's keep calm and carry on.
What is more important is Pickle's health, and not hearing from the lab about his results has become more and more frustrating.
