Миллениалы снова изобрели советскую школу. На этот раз рубрика «ебани меня о скалы, море» прошлась по литературе внеклассного чтения для летних каникул — Жюлю Верну и Ко. Читали в детстве взахлеб о капитане Гранте и капитане Немо, даже не особо-то пропуская всякие длинноты — описания растений Патагонии и проч.? Сопереживали Гленарвану, Мак-Наббсу, Сайрусу Смиту с Гедеоном Спилетом? А вот фиг вам теперь. 

Все это время вы были тайными сторонниками Экстинкшын Рыбеллион, и пришла, наконец, пора расставить все точки над «и», сказать свое твердое «нет» выхлопным газам, испускаемым по злому наущенью мастермайнда хомо сапиенса, и откэнселлить человечество, наконец.

“Asselin concludes with a focus on how cli-fi writers analyzed the political implications of changing the climate. Several anticapitalist authors wanted to expose the dangers of what they saw as the logical conclusion of market-driven hubris: selling the air and climate itself.
