Хроники самоизоляции: “Track/Test & Trace” — probably not (En)

The more the Government via the news outlets is saying that people should comply with the new “Track and Trace System” and download it on their smartphones, because “people already have been remarkably compliant and have been willingly going along with fairly unprecedented restrictions”;
the more they say that,
- it’s entirely voluntary,
- it’s not going to be the government telling you what to do,
- it’s going to be initially clinicians who will have discussions with you on who you were in contact with;
the more officials insist on how it is pivotal and makes it look like all sorts of requests are health advice rather than government instruction;
the more they stress that “people are observing their civic duty”;
the more they ask you equivocally, “you may want them to be safe, you may feel actually, you know what? it may be better this way; it also may help bed in public acceptance of this new system”;
the more they try to be a little bit wary in case people have concerns about privacy and about data retention
- the more I want to turn into a massive bag of bitch biscuits and to say “nah, thanks, I am good: it’s enough to me to stay away from most public places at the moment.”
