Museum tutti quanti: P. 1
Since the weather has been dismal almost all day (it’s rained cats and dogs) and wandering the streets, albeit Art Nouveau, became a dud even with an umbrella and a cagoule, we decided to go to the local Museum of Fine Arts (we visited it last time, but all I remembered were de La Tour’s works), and here are some bits and pieces from this trip.
Their Renaissance collection is pretty solid (better than Cambridge’s Fitzwilliam), comprising both Italian and Northern Renaissance artworks, and the real gems of this part were Mello da Gubbio, Perugino, and Lucas from Leiden.
