It’s amusing to see how filmmakers continue to use and abuse retro songs as soundtracks to horror and sci fi films* and their trailers: it began a while ago, of course, and meant to portray the past as deviously crooked from within, but the trope is getting stale and should be buried with all necessary honours for good.
